A recent three-alarm fire at Woodscape Apartments in Charlotte left 41 families homeless. MeckMin notes that of the 139 people affected, 94% are low income and 37 are children.

This has been a completely devastating situation.

The Charlotte Clergy Coalition for Justice is raising money through August 7th to help secure new housing and replace personal items. All funds will go directly to the families.
